1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, creating an account, or using the physics simulation tools provided by Fermion Labs ("the Service"), you explicitly accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must abstain from using the Service.
2. Description of Service
Fermion Labs provides a web-based educational and research platform that allows users to interact with 3D physics simulations across multiple scientific domains (including but not limited to Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Relativity). The Service includes gamified progression (Achievements) and cloud storage for "Saved Labs".
3. Disclaimer of Mathematical Accuracy
Not for Mission-Critical Engineering: The physics simulations provided on this platform are designed for educational, illustrative, and exploratory purposes. While Fermion Labs strives for high mathematical fidelity, we make no warranties regarding the absolute correctness of any simulation. You agree not to rely on Fermion Labs' output for real-world engineering, safety-critical systems, or formal academic citations without independent verification.
4. User Accounts and Security
To access certain features (e.g., saving labs, earning titles), you must register for an account. You are entirely responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions conducted under your account. Fermion Labs cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account details.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (including 3D models, UI design, simulation algorithms, and proprietary source code) are and will remain the exclusive property of Fermion Labs. Users retain ownership of their specific "Saved Labs" configurations, but grant Fermion Labs a license to store and render them.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Fermion Labs offers Free, Premium, and Institutional tiers. By upgrading to a paid tier, you agree to the pricing and billing policies presented at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to the billing cycle. Refunds are processed solely at the discretion of Fermion Labs management.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.
