  • Progression Data: Achievements unlocked, titles earned, and domain-specific XP accumulated.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, preferred graphics quality settings, and theme preferences (e.g., Light vs. Dark Academia).

Your data is utilized strictly for improving and facilitating your experience within Fermion Labs. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Authenticate your access and maintain the security of your account.
  • Persist your highly customized 3D simulations across multiple devices and sessions via our "Saved Labs" feature.
  • Render your public profile (if enabled) so other researchers can view your achievements and titles.
  • Process payments and manage tier subscriptions (Premium / Institutional) via our trusted third-party payment processors.

All user data, including passwords and saved simulations, is encrypted and securely stored using enterprise-grade database solutions (Supabase/PostgreSQL). We implement rigorous technical and organizational measures against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of your personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

Fermion Labs will never sell your personal information. We may share necessary data with trusted third parties strictly for operational purposes:

  • Authentication & Database: Supabase
  • Billing & Subscriptions: Stripe (no raw credit card data ever touches our servers)
  • Analytics: Vercel Analytics (anonymized performance tracking to improve 3D rendering)

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you have the right to access, rectify, or completely erase your personal data from our systems.
